April 20 Journal
I am glad you are here. If you are an 8th or 6th grader, we have a survey to complete. Once you are done with this journal I will pass them out. Today I will be explaining our next essay in My Access. It is very important that you take notes and are "present" during Direct Instruction since this is new material I will be covering. You also need to complete the "simile" poetry assignment by Wednesday.

I am more like a spring thunderstorn because sometimes my actions can strike like lightening. I have shocking emotions and they come all the time.
The steps that i would take to make a nest is, get all the things i need, find a place that is not hard to find, look if others birds dont live there already. pick a spot on the tree. START MAKING THE NEST
to build a nest I would use cotton and hay or other stuff that is soft
1. first i would look for the stuff
2. then I would build it
I am more of a spring thunderstorm because i can handle thunders and not snow because i dont like cold weather.
If I were a bird then I will first gather as many twigs as I can. Next, I will make a circle with the twigs and stack them.

I am most likely like a spring thunderstorm because I am a very SHOCKiNq person and always experiencing new things. Also I am known to have very STRONq emotions.
First I would find all kind of sticks and leaves.Then wave them together.Next I would Find the soft things.Like,cloth,feathers,
or othe materials, and weave all that to the woven sticks and leaves.

#1: First thing you do is fiind all the sticks and different types soft things to put in thes in to the nest for comfort
#2: Then you start top stack up the stick into a circle to fit your needs
#3: After that put the comfortable things into the nest
the steps i would take would be, first i would go and search for a bird house so that i could just bring in the supplies.then iwould gather all the sticks that i need.then i would start building and weaving to make the perfect nest with no twigs sticking out.

If i was a bird and had to bulid a nest i would have to first: look for safe, high place that i would like to live in. Second: i would go and gather skinny, small twigs. Third: i would put all of my twigs tightly together and make sure that it wont fall or that there are no holes so i won't fall.Fourth: i would find something soft such as grass and put it inside the nest and leave it there so that when i go to sleep i can be warm. Fifth: i would find leaves or water so i could wash myself and the i would go to my nest and rest.

Because snowstorms are cool,pretty and i like it when it is snowing outside.It's better than a thunderstorm.Also because when it snows outside you can makke a snowman.And in a thunderstorm you cant.When you go outside in a thunderstorm you get sick,wet,and cold.And when you go outside in a snowstorm,you get cold,not sick if you are wearing the right clothes.So this is why i will rather be a snowstorm.
Half of the reason i'm like a spring thunder storm is that I'd rather make someones day than ruin it. because the last thing anyone wants is snow evan though we are suppose to have snow today but I don't think we are going to have any.Also some people like rain and rain is better for the envoirment than snow is.
I would say sping storms BECAUSE winter storms are bad and more acintend happen
