February 11 Journal
Welcome back to class. Today I am going to give the girls a red star and the boys a blue star. Write your name on this star. I will then dismiss you by tables to hang your star in the hallway next to the presidential candidate you would vote for. Remember your vote is private and should not be swayed by th populus. Look at the Study Island Race- 6th grade pulled a head of 8th grade and are now in 2nd place. 7th grade is still in the lead and have turned the corner. Keep up the great work. When you are done with your journal, work in Study Island for 30 minutes. I am going to do about 10 minutes of direct instruction with you after Study Island. Today we will be working on making the 2nd submission for My Access. I am going to show you how to do 5 new things in My Access as well.

If Ihad a little brother that lost his first tooth, I would want him to get a bag of worms under his pillow.
If i had a little brother and he lost a tooth the tooth fairy would leave him some money.Other than that i would ask the fairy to leave him some confidence, and pride.

Three items that use lightbulbs are celing lights some tvs use them and car lights life would be really different if we did not have any light since we would not be able to see at night especially with cars we would not be able to see at night and it could cause a lot of accidents
Today is Thomas Edisons birthday. We should honor this man because without lighbulbs the streets would still have lamps and everywhere we go would be so dark and that be no fun.Three things that would not work without lighbulbs would be the cars lights, lamps, and things that contain little or huge bubls.
If I had a little brother, which I do, and he just lost his first tooth, I would like for the toothfairy to give him a coupon to the dentists' office to get his cavities filled.
