On this day in 1886 Coca Cola was invented. The inventor said that it was Brain Tonic, but they re-named it to Coca Cola or as we say Coke.
My favorite soft drink is AW Rootbeer. I love it just cold and on ice, I do not like to drink from a can. I also LOVE to make black cows, when you add vanilla ice cream to rootbeer. ( I always get sugar free soda)
1. What is your favorite soft drink? Do you have a soda everyday?

An acronym is a word formed from initials. For example, "NASA" is an acronym for "National Aeronautics and Space Administration." Acronyms are shortened versions of a word, such as: U.S.A (United States of America) U.N (United Nations)
Do Not use "text talk" it must be a common acronym to everyone.

Think today about people who go by their full complete name. Frank Lloyd Wright for example. He is never called Frank Wright. Always his full complete name. Martin Luther King is also known by his full name.My full name is Debra Jean Ann Kusnik, my middle name is after my grandmother. I did not like my name because all my classes had so many Debbys and, it was confusing. I wanted to be called Dj.
1. Write today your full complete name. Do you like your name? Were you named after anybody a relative or someone famous? Would you change your name if you could? What would your chosen name be

Everyday you will be expected to respond to the daily BLOG. You will be receiving points for each post you make. By the end of the quarter you should have made 21 posts. Be sure that you have written in full sentences and you have checked your spelling before posting since everyone in class will see what you have written.
Have fun with your blog, remember everyone can read what you wrote. :-)

Favorites
With the end of our quarter this week I want you to think of all your FAPA classes. Today tell me, besides PE, what is your favorite FAPA class and why. Don't worry you can speak truthfully and not worry about my class. I just really want to know. And if PE is not your favorite tell me that also. You must tell me why :-)

Spring Forward
Moving the clocks ahead an hour was done in hopes of saving money on energy bills, using less lights, by making the day longer, earlier in the year. So now you know why we “spring ahead” in March and “fall back” in November every year with our clocks.
1. Did you notice that it stayed lighter longer on Sunday? What do you like best about longer daylight hours?

Drills
Tornado Drills
A tornado drill is a method of practicing to take cover in a specified location in the event that a tornado strikes an area. Generally, a signal is given, such as a series of tones. Upon receiving the signal, everyone then proceeds to a designated location, usually an interior room or corridor with no windows, and assume a protective position. Schools are required to conduct regular tornado drills.
1. Have you ever been in a situation where you had to take cover? Does your family talk where to go if you did have a tornado drill at home?
