Happy St. Patrick's Day

This is a happy day for the Irish. In Ireland this is a holy day and a huge holiday.The shamrock is the traditional symbol of the day.

Describe your favorite green thing. Do you wear it, eat it, sit on it, or spend it?

Amelia Earhart

On this day, in 1932 Amelia began her solo flight. Amelia was the first woman pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Amelia began to fly around the world in 1937 when she mysteriously disappeared and was never heard from again.

A common saying is "Home is where the heart is." Describe what you love about Joliet. Yes you have to find something positive to say. If you have lived in another city compare Joliet to where you did live.

Example:I personally love the size and location of Joliet. I was raised in a really small rural town and we only had a Kmart, not even a McDonalds. I was so happy to live where I could go shopping and get on the highway easily and go where ever we want.

Charlotte's Web, Where the Red Fern Grows, Stuart Little, anything Disney?Think of one of your favorites when you were younger.My favorite memory of a book and movie I loved and still do is 101 Dalmatians. That is my favorite all time children's book and movie that I still love to watch. My second favorite would be Matilda.
