Traditions
Traditions on holidays are common for families. Some people may go to grand parents, aunts, uncles, cousins or good friends. Today give me 2 family traditions your family has.
Our 2 family traditions we do no matter what house were at;
1. eat smokies (sausage)
2. sing 12 days of Christmas (pull a # to see what day you get)

Happy!
Tell me a time you were the
happiest!
Maybe it was a big surprise, a gift you received, a friend came over, grades, family member home.
What made you really really happy?

Giving
" You need to give without remembering and receive without ever forgetting"
This quote is on my Christmas cards this year. What do you think it means?

Prediction
Think
about predictions. Something that you think might happen. Could be about you a
celebrity and athlete. Doesn't have to be serious. For example it could
be,
I
predict that my little brother Eddy will stop bugging me
someday.

Illinois 21st
On Dec 3, 1818:
Illinois becomes the 21st state .....The vast emptiness of the Illinois prairie was eagerly growing by both the pioneers and the farmers plows. The soil in the state of Illinois was known as one of the most fertile agriculture states. Known now, as the "Corn State" Have you lived in any other state other than Illinois? Have you ever been to Springfield, our capital?

A family possession handed down from generation to
generation. Do you have a family picture that has been handed down from an older generation? What is your favorite old picture or item your family has cherished? I have a picture of my great grandparents and they were riding in a horse and buggy. |
