John Fitzgerald Kennedy, commonly known by his initials JFK, was the 35th President of the United States, serving from January 1961 until he was assassinated in November 1963.

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do  for your country."      ~John F. Kennedy

I think what JFK meant in his famous quote was that, instead of always asking what the president can do for the country, think of ways you can help the country as well.

If you follow me then the country will be a better one. JFK wanted this but was shot with a sniper on November, 1963 by a young man.
When he died many people were sad that a man doing great things would be killed.

To me jfk's saying means that you should help your country because it is your county

Denise.T said...

I think that J.F.K did/said tis because, he wanted the people to step up for their country.
The country does do a lot for their country because, the people are unhappy and they want the world to be perfect for them but, the president was barely making everyone happy at the time but, then some person had to ruin everything and shoot him...J.F.K I heard that he was a good president.
