February 2 is known as "Groundhog Day". The groundhog comes out of hibernation. If he sees his shadow, he goes back into his hole and waits for 6 more weeks of winter.
Give me clues when you can tell spring is almost here. Describe the "clues" that you can see, smell, hear, or touch. think, maybe even sports?

I think its when you see flowers starting to bloom and trees getting there leaves back.
I think spring is here when all the snow it gone.
When I know when Spring is coming when the end of the 3rd quarter comes, and 4th quarter is in.

The ways that I can tell spring is almost here is the ducks and birds that are coming back and the weather gets warmer which makes the snow start to melt.

The way I can tell spring is near is usually when I hear orsee alot of animals outside, like; birds, more deer, racoons, and many more. Usually I know spring is near when baseball comes around soon.
A way I can tell spring is coming is by the weather. Or if the sun is staying out longer.

The signs I get when I can tell that spring is on its way are: When its not so dark around dark by five o'clock. how i can tell that spring is on its way by this is because during the winter time its usually dark by five o'clock
It warms up out side and you only have too wear a jacket at the most.

The tempature is starting to warm up a little, that is one way i know it is starting to warm up.
