I would bring a laptop with me so that I could stay in touch with my other family members and friends.
I would also bring all of my photos so that i wouldn't forget about home!!!
If i was stranded on a island i would bring a fire, water and 23 light up bomb so if any air craft fly by they can come recuse me.
My famly and I did not go to the Island for year but the famly and I want to go to the Island 2 year and ever went wheir for ever.
I would take a phone and phone charger so that I can contact anyone if I need to. I would also take a first aid kit if anyone got hurt.
If I could only bring 3 items I would bring my cell phone. I would also bring my charger and my huge monster of a dog, Reylee. hee hee

as for family members i'd bring my mom and two friends i'd also bring my zune duh and the promt is not realy spicific about "shelter" so i'm gonna live in a mansion 16 bedroom on my own island for a year
