Minutemen are troops in the armed services that had to be ready on a minutes notice. Have you ever gotten up late an only had minutes to get ready? Write a sentence telling me about that time, where did you have to go? What happened that you slept in? How long did it take you to get ready? did you make it on time?

I have never had a time when I had only minutes to get ready because I always set my alarm.
I haven't ever had a time when I was late for something.

Yea, when i wake up late like 7:46 i had to ask my sister to drive me to school i still made it but only with two minutes.
Yes there was a time when i woke up late. I woke up and i got ready in 10 minutes but yeah i was on time to my destination
i never had an experience like this execpt for school.
there was 1 morning when i slept in and was gona be late for school i usually take like 20 minutes to get ready but i only had 5 so i did get ready and got to school on time

ONE TIME I GOT UP LATE AND ALMOST MISSED MY BUS FOR SCHOOL. I WAS ALREADY READY TO GO TO SCHOOL, BUT I WAS STILL TIRED. SO AFTER I GOT READY, I GOT BACK IN BED AND FELL ASLEEP. I DIDN'T REALIZE I WAS SLEEP FOR A LONG TIME UNTIL MY MOM CAME IN AND TOLD ME TO GET UP AND GO CATCH THE BUS. SO I HAD TO RUSH AND PUT ON MY COAT AND GET MY BOOK BAG AND GO OUTSIDE. LUCKILY I DIDN'T MISS THE BUS AND I WENT TO SCHOOL ON TIME.

Yes,it was a school day, and was sleeping. And it was very bad wather, and I thought that there was no school. The phone ranged and it was my friend. It was Adrian she tolled me if I was going to school. It was 7:28. In 2 miuties i do my hair. Then I got dress. And grave my stof and want outside.

Sometimes in the morning i have very little time, sometimes i only have ten minutes to get out the bed, take a quick shower, and rush to the bus stop so i wont miss the bus. But usually when i'm in a rush is because my mom didn't get up on time to wake me up.
Yesterday is the perfect example I woke up late and I got a tardy.

One time I woke up late, and only had a few minute to get to school. When I was in the car, I found out that my mom had put the incorrect time on my alarm clock. It wasn't going to be 9:00, but 8:00.

Well this one time i had to go to the doctor at 9:12a.m in the summer and i woke up at 8:50 a.m the reason i slept in is because the night before i had to go to a party. it took me like 10 min to get ready. and i did make it on time

yes i have it was for school and my head got stuck in the sink. i was so scared and the water was cold. the police had to brake the fountain.
One time I almost was late to go to a party.To keep myself from stop being late I got dressed real fast and I made it there on time.
I couldn't sleep one night, and I was up until 4 a'clock. In the morning I slept through my alarm, (I do that when I'm really tired.) and I only had 10 minutes to get ready to go to my bus stop, and go to school. But then when I came down to go to school my mom told me it was the first day of summer break! :) LOL!

i remember when i went to Mexico and when we got there we stayed at my grand parents and i sleeped on the coach because my other cusins went too,and the only thing we would do is light fire works, play soccer and eat tacos and tortas and mexican food.
I once woke up a little later then 7:30, I had to go to school I guess I it was because I went to sleep late, so I had to get ready in atleast 10 min.
