No Leap Year

Today is the last day of February. Next year will be a leap year, and we will have February 29, 2012. Long ago, in 1288, it was voted that on "Leap Day" women could propose marriage to men. That was the only day a woman could ask a man to get married.

Blizzard

Last week was one of our worst winter blizzards in Illinois. Did you know on Lakeshore Dr., in Chicago, over 900 cars were stranded for over 11 hours? People were in their cars not able to go anywhere because of the snow and conditions.
