Welcome to class! I am so glad you are here for Writing Lab. This year is going to be a great year. We will be working with Blogger (which you are in now), Study Island (we will do this in a few minutes), and My Access (this will be @ our next class).
Every day when you come in, you will need to sit at your assigned computer. It is very important that you always sit at the correct number so your computer usage can be monitored.
When you enter the room, you will go directly to your computer, open up Internet Explorer (the big Blue E) and read and respond to the daily blog. You should respond by incorporating the question into your answer.
You receive 2 points each day you respond (one point for your answer and one point for formatting). At the end of the quarter you should have answered 42 posts.
To publish your comment, you will type in your first name, last initial, and grade under "NAME/URL" and then hit the orange button to submit. You do not have an URL- leave that blank.
