Best friends are special. Some people stay best friends forever and other people live their life with never having a best friend. I have a bff, Sam has been my bff since we were in kindergarten. We don't see each other as often, but when were together we can talk forever. No one needs alot of friends we all just need true friends.

Many people long to be in the Guinness World Book of Records. Right now a 16 year old girl from California is trying to be the youngest person to sail around the world ALONE! The Fastest car, longest rope, drank the most water, sang the highest note; their are many different and crazy types of World Records. How do you apply to set or break a record?

Making a Record

On this day in 1974 Hank Aaron a baseball legend broke Babe Ruth's record of the most home runs. Aaron had 755 home runs in his major baseball career, and Ruth had 715 home runs. Today pretend you have set a record. Any kind of record. I saw on the news a 15 year old broke the record for the "fastest texter" with her cellphone.

Windy Weather

On this day in 1958 the strongest wind on record in Illinois was recorded at 280 mph. The wind gusted for hours causing terrible damage. Winds blowing that hard can be very scary.

Anger & Hate

Hate is a very strong word. I do not hate many things in this world. However, one thing I detest is people being rude and hurtful to each other. Everyone needs to show more kindness and we all need to be role models to help other people to catch on to using manners. It is so much more fun to be with people who are polite. Hate is a very strong word. People can loathe or detest something for many different reasons. I really can say that I hate very few things. But, I do hate when people are rude, offensive and impolite to one another. People with manners, that show common courtesy, are always much more pleasant to be around. I personally try to remind people of manners whenever it is possible.
