countries have very poor attendance in their schools, mostly because of
transportation. You are very fortunate in our public school system to have free
busing.

Yes , I do feel my attendance effects my grades at Dirksen because if I'm not here then I miss a day of notes, homework and I fall a little behind.

ReplyDeleteYes, if you miss a school day, you could lose out on the new math lessons ready that day. Missing multiple days can make you lose out on a whole subject.
ReplyDeleteThere are even commercials on Channel One stating if you miss 18 days of school, you risk graduating that year.
Yes, do think attendance effects our grades at Dirksen because we have test every week and we take notes but if you're not at school than you're missing out on the notes and the subject were working on might be difficult for you.

ReplyDeleteI believe attendance at school does effect your grades because I heard that studies show that the less you are in school the more chances you have to take summer school because of low grades. I know that the more you are at school the more you learn and the better grades you have.

ReplyDeleteI believe your attendance does affect your grade. The reason why I think this is because if you miss a day your going to miss what ever the teacher was teaching that day and not going to be ready for the test.
