Mascot

We are called the Dirksen Senators in honor of our Illinois former Senator Dirksen. He was very tall , well respected, and known to have a very calming voice. His last name was Dirksen that is why he is our mascot.

    I would choose The Bears because it's not like another school can say "the senators defeat the bears" I mean if a senitor was going to fight a bear they would loose. You couldn't say Bears defeat dolfins. A Bear could eat the dolfin. I would say the bears or the winners! :) How about "Always wins The Bear" That would be so cool!

    I think I would choose a lion or tiger because they are both strong. I think it is good since the lion is a strong animal and dirksen is a good scool. I think a tiger since it is a good andimal for the colors but we dont use the orange color we use a gold color.

    I would most likely pick Ray~Ray by himself or Mindless Behavior all together. This would be a good fundraiser for our school maybe if they sing for us. It will also be a great help for our school because we would get more kids educated from a famous school.

    If we had a mascot I would want us to be the gladiators instead of the senators because I think it would just be a better name then the senators. And I came up with this name because I was thinking of the movie gladiator.
