Dirksen Senators

We are called the Dirksen Senators in honor of our Illinois former Senator Dirksen. He was very tall , well respected, and known to have a very calming voice.

    If I got the chance to choose the new school mascot, I'd choose a bumble bee because a bee is slick, fast, and cunning. Plus, they match the school colors.

    The mascot I would chose would a old guy dress like a senetor. I would choose this to represent the school. Another reason I would choose it it's because we don't have a mascot. And my last reason I would choose a mascot it's because it mattch the school.

    I would choose a duck because that was the first thing that popped into my head and hardly any teams/schools have a duck as a mascot.Plus, it has a nice ring to it. Dirksen ducks...

    If i got selected to choose a new school mascot I would choose a Eagle because Eagles are strong and they are INDEPENDENT !! The mascot I choose is good for our school becasue our school is kinda WEAK so our school needs some power so we can do some of the things Dirksen Jr.High School need to do.

    If I were to pick a mascot for our school it would be an eagle probably because it would fit the colors a bit and that an eagle is strong and I think Dirksen is strong too for many of the staff members in Dirksen and the way we cooparate.
