Thursday, November 7, 2013

We are off school on Monday to honor our War Veterans. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month a silent moment was observed in 1919. Since then  Veterans Day, a legal holiday, is dedicated to American Veterans of all wars.
               Do you know anyone that is a soldier? Or someone who is very special to you?  Give their name and reasons why you feel that person is respected.

    In my family there is no soldiers but some of my relatives want to join them.

    I don't have anyone who was in the war but I still respect are troops in the war.

    My grandpa Ed is a solider he has been for 30 years and still is today.He fought in 2 wars,and he plans on retiring this year.

    Someone that I respect is my grandpa because even though I don't know if he was in the war he has been through difficult times but still stands strong

    No I don't have anyone that served in the war. I do have someone special to me is my grandpa and my grandma.

    Yes I do know someone who was in the army. His name is Preston Webb. He is my cousin. He is respected because he was serving us, and he was risking his life to protect us.

    Yes I know someone who used to serve. It is my uncle who used to serve in Honduras. My uncle is respected cause he serve for Honduras and is respected for many things but sadly he past away a couple of months ago.

    I know my dad because he was a marine in the us armed service he is respected because he served his time and then went to serve in the nave after he served.

    My uncle Billy was in the Marines, he died this year from cancer. I didn't know him but I went to the funeral. They did the seven gun solute.

    A soldier I know is Shawn Coleman and they are respected because he is protecting our country and keeping us safe.

    Someone who is special to me is my uncle Mark because he is my uncle and he was in the Navy.

    My dad is special to me because he is nice and he treats me like his little princess. I cant really say why I respect him , but I know I will always have respect for him.

    I do have a soldier in my family my uncle Randy is in the navy ,he is respected because he fights for our country and cares about the people in the country.

    My uncle is in the airforce , while my other uncle is in the army right. I respect the veterans who had served our country.

    One person that I think is special to me is my grandmother , because she is always there for people no matter what , when ever I need someone to talk to she always there , she teaches me how to be respectful & act like a young lady. I love her so much & that's someone who is respected

    I have 3 uncles that are still in the army but I respect them because they defended our country and faught for their lifes so I respect them

    My dad, my grandfather and my uncle were all in the service. I respect all of them because they spoil me with whatever I want. I also respect them because I like getting disciplined by them because they were in the service they know how I get disciplined in MMA so that's a way I'm used to and the discipline is hard so I learn from my mistakes.

    I have a cousin named Ashley who is serving in the military. I honor because she is fighting for her own country and I also had A cousin who is a veteran he served in the navy but he is deceased now his name was Raphel.

    Someone I respect is my mom because I don't know what I would do without her if it wasn't for my mom I wouldn't be here. That is why I respect her so much.

    I do know a veteran. The veteran is in Abby Tropps family. He brother happens to be in the army or marine...I'm not sure what he's in but he is respected by the way that he serves us needy people in the united states.

    I do know someone that is a soldier he is very special to me because he is my grandfather I never got to meet him because he died of cancer before me and my sister was born. I believe his name was Robert and reasons why I feel that he is respected is because he fought in many wars for the U.S.A. including the Vietnam war and I think WW2.

    Yes I do know someone who is a solider. My grandpa was solider and he died last year.I think he was in world war 3.

    My grandpa Bill was a veteran but he passed away. I think he's respected because he served in the military and protected our country.

    I do not know some one who is a soldier but I do have a special person his name is Demetrio my dad I admire him because he works hard for me and my brothers and mother and when I grow older I will repay him.

    I love my Great-grandmother, (Gramma Hilly, we call her.), because she's first of all, funny, smart, a delight to be with and, believe it or not, SHE'S 98 YEARS OLD!!! HOLY SNOT, RIGHT!?!

    This lady who is friends with my parents, her husband is or was, a Marine.Even though there is no one in my family that is in the Army I still respect them for their service in keeping us safe.

    yes actually my great grandpa was a soldier and also my cousin is also a soldier now and they really are special to me because they went to war for us to liv e and try to be peaceful
