Storms
On this date in 1960 the fastest wind was recorded going at 231 mph! This morning we had a loud windy spring storm. I could hear the thunder rolling and rain pouring down. Have you ever been frightened by weather? If not what kind of weather do you find the most threatening?
I've never been scared of weather, but I think the most threatening to me is storms.

ReplyDeleteWell once I was scared of a thunderstorm when I was younger but I think the most threatening weather is a tornado because there brief but deadly.

ReplyDeleteYes, I have been scared of weather because when I was little I was scared of thunder due to the noise. But now I will always be scarred for life because in 2004 there was a tornado and it literally jump over my house and destroyed my shed and I had my bike in there and everything else. All of it was GONE. My dad had to carry me down stgairs because I was asleep and when I woke up I didnt know what I was doing down stairs and my dad said there was a tornado. Then I started to shake in fear. That time my mom was at work so I was worry for her too. So yes I am scared of weather.

ReplyDeleteI am scared of all of the storms like the thunder storms, and tornadoes. The storms are very scary because Im scared of the dark and you could end up with a power outtage in you home or wherever you are. The tornadoes scare me because you could lose a lot in those things lkike your friends; which I for one wouldnt want to lose my friends. Especially Denise and Kacey, bevcause they are like family, and I love them! \(*.*)/ :D

Tornados are the most frightning things i have heard of.Im from california so I'm not used to them.People think earthquakes are scary but there not. The way there made up is by warm and cold wind chasing eachother. I like to think of it as there playing tag.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was on my was on my way to Florda for vacation, my family had to drive to Kansas to pick up Aunt Erika. When we got there my aunt told me we had to stay at her house for the day becuase there was a tornado warning. I was hoping that there wasn't going to be a tornado because I've never seen one but my aunt been in four. At like Five or Four there was a sound that I couldn't explain. My aunt told my family and I to go down in the basment. I wasn't hurt the next morning. On that night I was frighten. I think the most frightning weather are Tuesnamis, Tornados, and Earthquakes.

ReplyDeleteI have been scared once. I was in school and there was a tornado outside and I was scared for my family because they were going to pick me up. A lot of kids were crying and scared for their family. Other than that one time, I'm not really scared of weather but I like the sound of thunder and rain. All types of weather are threatening but it mostly depends on their level.

ReplyDeleteI have a strange kind of sense of when bad, I mean BAD weather is coming. Like, if it's raining and/or thudering and lightning outside, then my sense tells me that either it's a tornado or a REALLY BAD storm is coming. It's strange. Once, I was at my house and a Tornado Warning was issued. So, we (my family and I) went downstairs and waited out the storm. It was EXTREMELY scary. We heard branches being ripped and thrown on to our house, the electricity went out after about three, maybe four hours of waiting out the storm.
