School Mascot

We are called the Dirksen Senators in honor of our Illinois former Senator Everett Dirksen. He was a very tall , well respected political man. He was also known to have a very calming voice. Our school was named Dirksen therefore he became our school mascot.

    That is because 'Kerfuffle' means CRAZY, and dirksen is a pretty crazy school. The Dirksen Kerfluffles.

    I would choose the white-tailed deer because it is a not commonly used animal and I wanted to think of something sort of ridiculous but I think the porcupine is already a mascot.
