Labor Day

Labor was first celebrated in 1882. It became a national holiday the 1st Monday in September to honor all who are employed. For many years it was also the first day of school. Chicago starts school today and for students in Chicago their summer free time is over.

    I`m looking foward to graduation because I get to leave dirksen. What I`m not looking forward to is the next 9 months I have to spend in this place with some kids I DO NOT like, not to be mean or anything though.

    What im most looking foward to is the end of it. I know most people complain about summer being lame and stuff butI liked summer, not worring about school work or how much sleep you get. Also Christmas vacation (for the same reasons).
