Did it ever take you a long time to learn to do something? Was it a sport, cooking, a hobby, or a musical instrument that you kept trying to get better at? Did you then have to help someone else learn to do it?
my example is: I wanted to learn how to make the perfect stuffing for Thanksgiving dinner. I tried different recipes for a few years and now I love my dressing to have with our turkey. Now I have taught my own kids the recipe and they make the perfect yummy stuffing too.

ReplyDeleteThe thing that I wanted to learn how to play was volleyball. In sixth grade I tried out for the team even though I wasn't that good. I made the team, but didn't play much. I kept pracitcing and in 7th grade I was made the captin.

I wanted to learn how to be a good soccer player. I practiced at home with my dad and my brother. Sometimes we even went to the park and practiced there. I also tried out for soccer to learn more. I made the team so now I know how to pass and kick the ball the right way. It took me a few weeks to learn.

ReplyDeleteThe thing that took me a while to get good at was wrestling. But i kept trying to get better at it and i did. i learnd how to shoot, sprawl and put someone in a cradle. My brother and my dad helped me learn alot of advanced moves and of corse not to let the apponent get me in a move that i cant get out of.
