Nobel Peace Prize Day

The peace prize was named after Alfred Nobel who invented dynamite. Later he had such guilty feelings for inventing something that caused so much injury that he came up with this award. The award is presented in Norway and goes to an individual who has done the most for the good of humanity.
Today President Obama is getting the award.Obama said he received the award with "great humility" and acknowledged the "controversy" saying that next to "some of the giants of history who have received this prize my accomplishments are slight".

Did you ever do something good after doing something bad? Is it possible to "cancel out" bad with good?

    I shot my mom with a paint ball gun because she made me mad but then i said sorry. You cant cancel out bad with good because you can't change the past.

    I don't think you can cancel out bad with good. You may make it better, but the bad still remains afterwords. Unless you do something that would change the bad into good. Otherwise, it's impossible to change it.

    I had a very bad attitude and then when I got my phone, TV, and Ipod Touch taken away I was nice and did dishes and laundry. No you can not cancle out bad with good because I still had my stuff taken away.

    No i have not done anything good after doing something bad. When I get in trouble I just let it roll off my shoulders.It is possible to cancel out the bad with the good. My sister does it all the time. She will get in trouble and afterward make my mom breakfast so she wouldnt get in trouble.

    That depends on the bad you did. Some bads live forever some bads like stealing can be erased by paying them back or giving back the stolen thing

    When I had yelled at a teacher for saying something dumb to me. And I really didn't get into trouble that much because I helped this kid that had droped all of his stuff and made a mess all over the hallway. So I guess it can be like that.

    Yes i have done something bad once and i have tried to to do something good aftterwords.A example once i did that was when i was blaming something my three year old brother hadnt done so afterwards i gave a dollar so he could buy a toy at the store.That i think is being good and some people will consider that a bribe but it is not.

    one day i was playing soccer in my back yard while my parents and my aunts and uncles were helping my mom cook some BBQ at my hous, and i was playing with my cousins amd when i kicked the ball i hit my mom in the head with the ball and i blamed it on my brother!! hahaha

    Yes I do believe that you can cancel out the bad and focus on thee good one time I cancelled out the bad and focused on the good was when I let my brother sleep in my room even thoe he hit me.

    I have done something good after doing something bad cause the other day I washed the dishes after I had went to my friends house with out permission I still got yelled at and grounded but at least I washed the dishes and felt like not everybody was mad at me.

    my nephew was bothering me a lot so I kicked him and he was hurt so then I made him some food and he was happy but sometimes it is possiple to canclel out something bad by donig something good in return.

    Yes I puched my brother in the face and i beat him up. After a while I felt bad for doing that so I gave him my birthday and christmas money that totaled up to $600 and I felt better but he still didn't he accepted my gift so as very happy. No you can't cancel bad out with good but you can be better after being bad.

    One time I lost my temper and hit my sister and I got grounded off my X-BOX 360.After that we went to eat and nobody helped my little brother out of the car but,I went to go do it and then my mom thanked me and undrounded me from my X-BOX.
